Lani Sawyer creates wonderful designs
using the beautiful plants and animals of our island as
inspiration.
Because of her love of art, Lani’s mom Zennie Sawyer, began
Haku Designs in 1985. Drawing is still Zennie’s passion.
Her style of drawing details favorite native and local plants.
After a quarter of a century, some of her original designs
are still in use and loved by customers world wide.
These designs are silk-screened, so the coloration may vary,
especially on shirts that have blended colors - but that
just adds to the artisrty!
